Lost is back!

I am thrilled to be venturing into my first blog experience with my good friend Dave. The two of us met in college, and he hasn't stopped bothering me since. Although we are now an Amtrak train apart, we hope we will provide the world with our introspective insights, along with a small does of juvenile humor.

Currently there is only one thing on my mind: females (no), cookies (no), the New York Giants (maybe tomorrow).

The thing I am excited for most right now: Lost! Yes, our fellow friends from that tropical island are back. If you have never watched this show, stop reading and go rent the DVDs. You are missing out on one of the greatest pop culture experiences of our time. As for the rest of us, all I can say is "Please be 9 pm tonight already." I will admit that I am somewhat late to the game and have only come on board recently. Many commutes to and from the city have been spent catching me up to speed, but now I am ready.

This leads me to my first of many ponderings: Why do we consume ourselves with entertainment, when in reality, it really has no effect on our lives?

I will be back soon with my thoughts. For now, there is a chicken parm panini with my name on it waiting for me. Later.

Welcome

Welcome to Overworked and Underlaid, the half-true title of our new blog. Here we will share our observations about news, politics, sports, the working world, city life, and whatever else we feel like discussing. We're coming to you live from New York City and Washington, DC, proudly representing the eastern seaboard in our quest for fun, money, and the meaning of life. Welcome to us.

Welcome

Welcome to our blog!
